I'm curious what the real winning "hook" is when pitching the wonders and merriment of a slow-flush toilet. Slow-flush toilet salesman is an AMAZING idea for a story/protagonist (or... antagonist). I feel like the slow-flush toilet world is one where you get a lot of complaints later on. I feel like there is a market for a "constant flush" toilet. A toilet that evacuates itself as you are doing your business. Like, a "therapy toilet". A "confidence toilet". A toilet that tells you, "hey, take your time, I'm working on this, let me know if you need anything else, I'm here for you. Keep up the good work, bud!"
What an amazing interview - great idea! Thanks Amie and Jason for a most enjoyable read. And YES, Eric Carle - I flipping LOVE that caterpillar....... 🐛
The Eric Carle book that moves me the most in my middle age is "10 Little Rubber Ducks". It's a whimsical story based on a real event of a container ship that accidentally dumped thousands of rubber ducks into the ocean. Something about it feels bittersweet to me. I love it.
Thanks Amie! This was a lot of fun! There's something about the concision of your interview format that elicits answers that might not otherwise come out. Maybe we need to get political and business leaders to submit to keep it 100 style interviews.

Loved this! Jason is one of my favorites here.
What fun!! I'll follow Jason!! Thanks for interviewing him!
Jason is one of my favorite creators and people. Great interview! Now if you could somehow fit it into a haiku... 😆
Capital idea, Dascha! I may take you up on that--I’ve been known to pen a haiku here and there...

Wow, I'll have to find that - thanks for the recommendation, Jason!
Thanks for the fun to read interview!
I love it! Short and snappy :)
That’s how we roll at the micro!
Lovely interview. Thanks for introducing me to some more poetry that I didn't know I needed!
Lots of info in just a few words. I am a big Eric Carle fan too.

Let’s make that happen--I’m down!
Haiku poets are the best at 100-word interviews. 😂 Thanks to you both for this glimpse into WeirdPoetry’s world.
Jason is the ultimate precision poet!
I love Jason’s haiku illustrations, so this was a real treat!
