Jason McBride is an indie comic creator, collage artist and writer. He’s also the author of Pirate Haiku, Horror Haiku, and the author & illustrator of Quantum Joy Infinite Melancholy.
Earlier this year, I discovered him among the pages of “Weirdo Poetry,” a newsletter that delivers a daily micro-dose of poetry comics and short messages about the creativity process. His gorgeously-illustrated haiku is insightful and provocative.
Jason believes in the principle of enough. “My search isn’t for unbelievable wealth,” he says. “I’m looking for contentment.”
Welcome to the mashup’s micro-interview! Answers can be any length, but the total word count—including my 8 questions—can’t exceed 100 words.
